Terms & Conditions — Checkride Assistant
(APD Checklist)

Who This Applies To
Checkride Assistant is distributed for use by airline flight crew and training staff (New-Hire and Upgrade pilots, Instructors, PCAs, and APDs) in an authorized training program. It isn't a general public app, and these Terms govern your use of it if you fall into one of these roles.
1. Acceptance Of Terms
By creating an account or using Checkride Assistant, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. Eligibility
Checkride Assistant is intended solely for airline flight crew and training staff in an authorized training program, using a valid school code. Access outside these roles isn't permitted.
3. Your Account
- —Keep your sign-in credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account
- —Provide accurate identity, certification, and training information
- —Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- —Access another user's records, review, or messages without authorization
- —Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app beyond what's permitted by law
- —Upload content you don't have the right to share
- —Use the app to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent your identity or role
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the certificates, documents, and records you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the app's checkride and review, scheduling, and Crew Challenge features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with Google Firebase, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and, if you choose to connect it, Google Calendar. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for what data each service receives.
7. Not An Official Record
Checkride Assistant is a training and record-keeping tool — not your airline's, training program's, or the FAA's official system of record. It doesn't replace IACRA, Designee webpages, or any employer or regulator system, and nothing in the app constitutes official certification, approval, or regulatory action.
8. Availability & Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice of material changes where practical, but the app is provided on an as-available basis.
9. Disclaimer Of Warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arise Digital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on data or records stored in it.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the app at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your data.
12. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
